Andre Previn won the Academy Award® for Music for his work on My Fair Lady™. The original music was written by Frederick Loewe but Previn was the supervisor and conductor for the film production. A master of his art, Andre Previn led his orchestra to a flawless performance of this popular score.

He was nominated for 11 Academy Awards® in his long career, and in addition to My Fair Lady™, he won for his work on Gigi in 1958, Porgy and Bess in 1959, and Irma La Douce in 1963.

Theodore Bikel made a notable debut in American film with a role in John Huston's The African Queen. His career included about 25 other films including, of course, his role as the Zoltan Karpathy, adviser to the queen of Transylvania, in My Fair Lady™.

Bikel played many great characters on the stage as well, both in London and on Broadway. In addition to his career as an actor, he was a folk singer and guitarist of great popularity. His many fans frequently called him to the concert halls and his song repertoire incorporated 17 languages.
